Sheffield United fans split on potential Jagielka return

Sheffield United fans on Twitter are split about the potential return of Phil Jagielka after it was confirmed that the veteran centre-half would be leaving Everton at the end of this season.

The Blades have been linked with their former player already this window, and with him now being available on a free, fans are inevitably discussing their opinions on the potential move.

The defender will be turning 37 this summer, so understandably supporters of the Yorkshire club had concerns about his age and whether or not he will be able to keep up in the Premier League next season.

Certain fans have been adamant that they don’t want the former England international at Bramall Lane next season, while others have welcomed his return with open arms.

Jagielka was a fantastic servant for the Blades in the 2000s, making almost 250 appearances for the club.
