Gary Neville would probably make most Manchester United fans greatest ever XI for his loyal service during 1992-2011 in which he made over 600 appearances during that time (602) – not forgetting the countless trophies he won.
Ever since retiring and becoming a pundit for Sky Sports, Gary Neville has grown and grown in popularity with us fans as the former England international says it like it is and, nine times out of 10, he sees the beautiful game in the same way as us.
Neville’s career choice will of course mean that, from time to time, he will rub the club he so loyally served up the wrong way with his analysis.
The former right-back recently criticised Manchester United’s summer signing Daley Blind, suggesting the Netherlands international is too quick to play the simple pass rather than take risks when in possession.
