The Curacao international, who has represented his country on 24 occasions, moved to St. Mary’s last summer from FC Twente.
Despite being initially signed as back-up to Cedric Soares, the 26-year-old managed to fight his way into the starting line-up last term and even bagged a Premier League Goal of the Season contender in a shock 4-0 win over Arsenal.
But Martina only signed a two-year contract with the Saints and according The Daily Echo, he could move on before the summer transfer window slams shut.
Indeed, the regional newspaper claim fresh managerial appointment Claude Puel wants an attacking right-back to complete with Soares next season – which would leave Martina third in the pecking order.
Soares, meanwhile, is expected to sign an improved contract with the Saints following his impressive displays for Portugal at Euro 2016.
