Southampton’s last and only Premier League win of the 2018-19 campaign came away to Crystal Palace at the start of September.

The Saints have been very poor in the top flight this season, with a total of eight points from 13 matches leaving them in the bottom three.

Southampton have actually only lost two of their last five in the league though, with those defeats occurring at Manchester City and Fulham.

At home, the Saints have drawn their last two against Newcastle United and Watford, and host Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

United are not exactly in the best of form, but will fancy their chances of collecting all three points from St Mary’s this weekend.

Mark Hughes remains in the managerial hot-seat at Southampton despite the team’s poor form this season, but a number of club’s supporters are hopeful that a change might occur before the clash with Jose Mourinho’s side.
