Southampton are now only outside of the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference following their 4-1 home defeat to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints actually started quite well against Frank Lampard's side but conceded the first goal in the 17th minute courtesy of a finish from Tammy Abraham.

The referee needed goal-line technology to confirm that Abraham's effort had crossed the line with Maya Yoshida doing his best to clear.

Angus Gunn hardly covered himself in glory as the goalkeeper came to confront Abraham and ended up getting nowhere near the ball.

To be honest, there might not even have been a chance for the Chelsea forward had the Southampton goalkeeper not decided to leave his goal.

Gunn also dropped a clanger in the defeat to Bournemouth last month, and it seems that the club's fans are fast losing patience with the 23-year-old.
