Loads of Southampton fans on Twitter are fuming with striker Charlie Austin following his recent not-so-cryptic tweet, which indicates that he has been frozen out at the club.

Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl openly admitted during the 2018/19 season that the 30-year-old was free to leave if a suitable outcome was found for all parties, and it seemed as though an exit may have been on the cards when he was left out of the 26-man squad that travelled to Austria last week.

A report by The Sunday Mirror, via HITC, over the weekend suggested that the former QPR man has rejected a move to West Bromwich Albion to stay and fight for his spot at St Mary's despite the two clubs agreeing a fee, although his latest social media post suggests that his wish may not have gone down well.

The centre-forward looks to be Hasenhuttl's sixth-choice option in that position right now, with Danny Ings, Che Adams, Shane Long, Michael Obafemi and youngster Dan N'Lundulu all making the trip to Austria ahead of him.

Austin already caused controversy among Saints supporters when he was pictured wearing a Liverpool shirt before the Champions League final, and now he has irked many again with his latest tweet.
