Southampton fans have had enough of Mauricio Pellegrino

Southampton failed to win in the English Premier League for the 15th time in 16 matches on Saturday afternoon, playing out a 0-0 stalemate at home fellow relegation strugglers Stoke City.

Mauricio Pellegrino’s side knew that a win would give them a massive boost in their fight to avoid the drop to the Championship, but failed to muster a winning performance yet again, much to the frustration of supporters.

With three difficult away trips to follow, it was a match they had to find three points in.

Fans are now calling on the Argentinian to be sacked, believing he is getting his line-ups, substitutions, tactics and well, everything wrong.

Whether sacking him at this stage of the season would be wise or not is another matter, but it’s clear results aren’t likely to improve as long as Pellegrino is in charge.

Just one point above the relegation zone, would a managerial switch save the Saints from Championship football next season?
