Southampton Football Club's official Twitter account posted a video of Manolo Gabbiadini's equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday on Tuesday, and Saints fans were quick to react.

The Italian has found first-team starts and minutes in general hard to come by over the last few months after struggling to rediscover the brilliant form he first showed when he joined the south coast outfit in January 2017.

However, the 25-year-old came off of the substitutes' bench to fire home what could prove to be an important goal at the end of the season – and his first in the Premier League since October – to put himself in contention for a spot in the XI for the huge six-pointer against Stoke City at St Mary's on Saturday.

Southampton supporters took to social media to have their say on the video, and while one said "maybe if we played him a bit more he may score some goals", another said "has to start against Stoke or there will be meltdowns!".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
