Out-on-loan Southampton man Sofiane Boufal scored a stunning solo goal for Celta Vigo during their 2-1 La Liga defeat to Sevilla on Sunday, and Saints fans were quick to react on Twitter.

Just hours after they had been convincingly beaten 3-0 by Chelsea at St Mary’s, the Morocco international made a big impact from the substitutes’ bench for the Spanish outfit, whom he joined on a temporary basis during the summer transfer window having fallen out of favour under Mark Hughes last term following a disagreement between the two.
Much like his brilliant strike against West Bromwich Albion last term, the 25-year-old picked the ball up in his own half, raced forwards beating plenty of opposition players before producing a fine curling finish.
Southampton supporters, 46% of whom who voted on our poll want Hughes to make an unthinkable change to his starting XI, took to social media to give their thoughts on the wonder-goal, and while one said “bring back Boufal now”, another said “I’d be more than happy to see him come back”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Never doubted his skill as a footballer, but his mentality let him down.

Tough one. He’s clearly got behavioural issues but his talent is undeniable. If he sorts out his attitude whilst out on loan I’d be more than happy to see him come back

Boufal is so shit (1:16). Glad we sent him on loan. He's only scored 2 goals and an assist already this season 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂 #saintsfc
Thank God we have @NathanRedmond22, @chazaustin10, Moi, @ShaneLong7, Armstrong and Ings! Top 17 finish guaranteed…https://t.co/7BdcjXnSR9

Please don’t keep showing Boufal and Carillio goals. They were either petulant or very poor for us so why bother! #saintsfc
