According to the Daily Mail, Southampton are interested in signing Aston Villa pair Keinan Davis and Andre Green in this summer's transfer window.

Villa's failure to secure promotion to the Premier League last term has left the club in a very difficult position both on and off the field.

And it is understood that a number of players will leave Villa Park ahead of the new season.

According to the Daily Mail, Southampton are extremely interested in signing Villa pair Davis and Green, with the Saints preparing an offer of between £3m and £4m for the duo.

Davis scored twice in 28 Championship appearances for Villa last term, whilst Green netted once in five league appearances before picking up a hamstring problem.

And Southampton were reportedly extremely impressed with Green when the winger featured for Villa's Under-23 side against their Under-23 outfit back in January.

The Southampton fans, who have also been commenting on Paco Alcacer, have been reacting to the transfer speculation, and it would be fair to say that they have differing opinions on the Villa duo.
