Southampton fans rejoice as Allan Tchaptchet signs professional deal

Southampton announced on Friday that defender Allan Tchaptchet had signed his first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old, who has penned a deal until the summer of 2021, has been a regular for the club’s Under-18 side this season, whilst he has also appeared for the Under-23s.

Tchaptchet only moved to the Saints from Sannois Saint-Gratien last summer, but has made big steps forward during his time in England.

And the Frenchman will never forget signing his first professional contract.

It would certainly be fair to say that the teenager is a huge prospect, and the Southampton fans were delighted to hear the contract news on Friday.

Indeed, a number of the club’s supporters took to social media to lavish praise on the defender, who has been training with the first team since Ralph Hasenhuttl became head coach.
