Some Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to reminisce over former striker Graziano Pelle, on the anniversary of his first ever goal for the club.

On the 26th August 2014, the Italy international popped up with a near post finish against Millwall at The Den to open his account for the Saints.

Pelle went on to score 30 goals and recorded 10 assists for the South Coast side in just 80 games following an £8m move from Feyenoord - he was involved in a goal every two games on average.

The 34-year-old now plays for Shandong Luneng in China, where he has kept up an impressive goal record with 51 strikes in 102 games, whilst also grabbing 20 assists.

The Saints fans on Twitter seem to remember Pelle fondly having enjoyed watching him lead the line for them over the years, so let's take a look at what they said on the anniversary of his first goal for the club...
