Southampton are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after picking up a hard-fought 2-1 victory away to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

It's the first time that Saints have managed to get to this stage of the FA Cup for 13 years, delighting supporters with an extended run in the pressure-free competition after their recent Premier League woes.

Mauricio Pellegrino's side scored in each half through Wesley Hoedt and Dusan Tadic, before withstanding a late barrage from Alan Pardew's Baggies.

Pleased with the performance, Saints fans are now dreaming of trips to Wembley and potential major silverware.

Another talking point coming out of the fixture was the cameo from substitute Josh Sims, who came on with just five minutes remaining and made an immediate attacking impact.

Fans are now pleading with Pellegrino to give the 20-year-old more game time, believing he can provide a better option than the likes of Nathan Redmond in the final third.
