Southampton ready for another summer battle as big name stars look for exit route

Southampton could face another summer exodus should influential manager Ronald Koeman leave the club for Everton this summer, according to the Sun.

The Dutchman has been strongly linked with a move to Merseyside, with speculation ramping up in recent days as the Toffees reportedly prepare a lucrative offer.

Big name departures have been a sewing motif on the South Coast for a number of seasons now, with their meteoric rise to bonafide Premier League players seemingly coming at a price.

Should the former Benfica coach leave St. Mary’s, it is claimed that a number of top players could follow suit.

Shane Long and Victor Wanyama have both been linked with moves away, particularly to Tottenham, while forward Graziano Pelle is also thought to be on his way out.

The Italian marksman has been a wonderful signing for the Saints, though with his contract running down could soon be set for an emotional return to Serie A.

Star man Sadio Mane has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool after thoroughly impressing since his move from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014.
