Much has been made of Chelsea's system change, as Conte's tactical awareness has heaped success on the Blues in recent weeks. However, Sunday's visit to St. Mary's will prove no easy task for the Italian, who will be hopeful of not suffering a second defeat in five days.

On the contrary, Southampton will be looking to ensure their five-game unbeaten run in the Premier League continues. Puel's new look Saints team have continued their impressive calendar year form which has witnessed the club achieve more points than Sunday's visitors.

Chelsea's record on the south coast is rather impressive - losing just once at St. Mary's since the stadium opened in 2002. Southampton have not lost at home since February, coincidentally enough when Chelsea last visited the red and whites.

But we at Football FanCast can sense the winds of change around St. Mary's and we're resultantly tipping Southampton to cause an upset against the Blues this weekend. An audacious prediction, perhaps, but hear us out first.

Southampton have continued their strong, impressive form brought to them by Ronald Koeman with new manager Claude Puel. The Frenchman has settled into life quickly at St. Mary's, instilling confidence and exuberance within the squad.

Unlike Chelsea, Southampton have been difficult to beat all season and their impressive run has been built on the security provided by the backline. The Saints have conceded just three goals at home all season and will prove difficult for Chelsea to break down.

Pace and energy from midfield

Southampton have been able to ensure the loss of Sadio Mané was not a gap too wide to fill. Nathan Redmond has replaced the now-Liverpool forward, and his goals and general play have eased Puel's worries.

New signing Sofiane Boufal looks a bright prospect and is expected to start this weekend. If both players are on top form, Southampton could severely damage Chelsea's slow and stagnate defenders with ease.

Conte's system is not bulletproof

Antonio Conte has received a lot of praise for his defensive switch from a back four to his more favoured back three. But West Ham flawed the apparently invincible system on Wednesday evening.

Without discrediting the Hammers victory, Southampton have a lot more attacking options to damage Chelsea and their apparently flawless system evidently has weaknesses which the Saints can exploit on Sunday.

Unless Chelsea have drastically improved in five days, Puel may claim the biggest scalp yet of his Premier League career.
