Spurs fans loved Son’s display on Sunday

Tottenham Hotspur produced an emphatic display on Sunday to overcome Everton by a 6-2 scoreline at Goodison Park. The home team were utterly humiliated by Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who announced themselves as title contenders with their ruthless destruction of the Toffees.

Spurs’ talismanic striker Harry Kane bagged a brace, as did Heung-Min Son, whilst Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli also got on the scoresheet. Son, in particular though, shone. The 26-year-old was brilliant throughout the match, and constantly posed a threat to the brittle Everton defence.

His first goal, that saw him capitalise on a mistake by the Toffees’ ‘keeper, was brilliantly taken. He also impressed with his tireless work-ethic and creativity, which earned him an assist for Kane’s second goal.
