Spurs & Liverpool-linked ace desperate for Prem move

Liverpool and Spurs have been handed major transfer boosts, with Ukraine international Yevhen Konoplyanka having revealed that he’s eager to secure a summer move to the Premier League.

The 25-year-old winger looks set to leave defeated Europa League finalists Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk when his contract ends in a few weeks’ time, and given his quality he’s one of the more attractive freebies available.

Both Liverpool and Spurs, as well as Stoke, have been linked with moves for the Eastern European ace of late, but there have been suggestions that a deal to join Sevilla is on the cards.

However, ‘Kono’ has now revealed that playing in England is his aim, even if there is interest from elsewhere:

“My priority is to play in England. There is where I want to continue my career and I am going to do it,” he is quoted by Metro.

“The clubs may meet with Dnipro, but I can only say what I am doing.”

Liverpool almost signed Konoplyanka in the January 2014 transfer window, but failed to get a deal over the line in time to beat the cut-off point, even though personal terms had been settled.
