Following loan spells at Millwall, Leyton Orient, Norwich City and Leicester City, you’d be forgiven for assuming Tottenham Hotspur’s striker Harry Kane wasn’t going to become a footballing star.
The England Under 21 international’s metoeric rise to the top during this Premier League campaign has left football fans bewildered and the Lilywhites faithful rejoicing.
There just seems no stopping Kane at the moment, following his heroic brace against Arsenal in the North London Derby on Saturday, the Englishman continued his fine goalscoring form with Spurs’ first goal against Liverpool last night – the striker couldn’t prevent his team falling to a 3-2 defeat, however.
Kane’s fine form has even brought about reports that Real Madrid have been watching the young striker and harbour hopes of the 21-year-old joining his previous team-mates Luka Modric and Gareth Bale at the Bernabeu.
If Kane continues his rich vein of form, then such rumours won’t seem so outlandish as they do at the moment and we may well be putting Kane in a bracket with the other footballing superstars…
