Stoke City’s reputation of a physical team that plays extremely unnatractive football was always going to be hard to dispel.
But in the opening 45 minutes of their Premier League meeting with Aston Villa, Mark Hughes’ side put in a performance that not even most die hard of Potters fans thought was possible.
After going a goal down inside five minutes, Stoke responded with three goals that were all products of some good, attractive football.
And fans on Twitter just didn’t know what to make of it…
Were actually a good team now! #scfc

16 pass move, started by the goalscorer N'Zonzi, that lead to our third goal. Love it. #scfc
