Former Man United ace cuts Chelsea star down to size

Stoke have tried very hard in recent seasons to shed their reputation of being a tough, no-nonsense physical side, with manager Mark Hughes trying to bring some attractive football to the Britannia – although Tony Pulis will forever be a hero to the Potters faithful.

This painful tackle by Phil Bardsley on poor Eden Hazard, however, shows just why the Potters are infamous for their physicality – although Gary Neville did defend his former Man United colleague during the half-time analysis.

Luckily for the Stoke man, he only received a yellow card.

Hazard will certainly be feeling that one in the morning!
