The diminutive striker is one of the most sought after players in world football. His current side Atletico Madrid are again underperforming, sitting in 11th place in La Liga. Surely this will be the summer that Aguero makes a big money move in pursuit of some silverware.

If Aguero does move this summer any potential suitors will have to pay a vast sum of money for the Argentine’s services. Atletico are an ambitious club and they will not want to lose their star man so will demand a high price. As shown by the sale of previous talisman Fernando Torres, the club are however not unwilling to negotiate if the player has a desire to progress.

Aguero plays as a central striker but due to his height he tends to play with a partner. He is a stocky player in the mould of Wayne Rooney so he can look after himself physically which will no doubt tempt the Premier League big boys. Chelsea and Manchester United have been regularly linked to the striker, but a rejuvenated Liverpool, mega rich Manchester City or even Arsenal, in need of a star striker, may be tempted.

He has been tipped to become the best player in the world a claim potentially justified by the following video;

The 21 year old has had a successful career in Spain scoring 50 goals in 131 appearances for the inconsistent Atletico. He is a prominent member of the Argentinean strike force, alongside Carlos Tevez and Lionel Messi that will be hoping to win the World Cup in the summer. In an interesting piece of trivia he is also married to the youngest daughter of Argentina’s legendary coach, Diego Maradona. No claims for nepotism however as Aguero has an impressive 7 goals in 20 national appearances.

Importantly he has proven his credentials in the Champions League scoring an impressive brace against Chelsea this season. Take a look at the first of these goals in this video;

If Aguero does wish to move on this summer there will be an almighty rush for his services. Every major club in Europe that can afford him will be interested and the young Argentinean may well be all over the back pages this summer.
