The Sunday Express are reporting that Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis is looking at property in London as he hopes to seal a £9m move to Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.
Whilst Gomis – who arrived at the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer from Lyon in the summer – has dropped strong hints that he wants away from the South Wales club, Swans manager Garry Monk is unlikely to want to lose the Frenchman, having already seen star striker Wilfried Bony leave the club for Man City in a £28m deal earlier this month.
However, Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has been a long-time admirer of Gomis – having attempted to sign him while managing Newcastle – and he may look to take advantage of the striker’s uncertainty by making a move.
Swansea were dumped out of the FA Cup by Championship side Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, while Palace secured a comeback victory against Southampton to progress to the fifth round.
