Impatient fans and club owners beware. There is only five months to go before you can indeed go shopping and spend those big bucks on those players who will turn your next campaign into a memorable one, honest! The recent Lukas Podolski and Arsenal saga serves to suggest that no deal is done until it is done and the premature calls that his is already a Gunner are ludicrous considering pre-contractual agreements in this country are more of a rarity than they are on the continent.
