Liverpool summer signing Simon Mignolet has enjoyed an excellent inaugural campaign at Anfield, and in terms of the stats there isn’t much to choose between the Belgium international and Manchester City No.1 Joe Hart.
They both don shot-to-save ratios of 63%, and both have claimed ten sheets this season, although it’s worth mentioning that the England ‘keeper has made eight less outings than his Anfield counter-part.
But in terms of experience and established quality, the Citizens No.1 has to get the nod.
Furthermore, since being dropped for Costel Pantilimon earlier in the season, Hart hasn’t put a foot wrong. He’s conceded less than a goal per game, and the Etihad outfit have lost just once in the 26 year-old’s presence following his brief spell on the bench.
