David Beckham. What a man.
Even now, almost 12-years after he left the Premier League, the former England captain is still recognised as one of the most gorgeous men on the planet, I mean, there isn’t a bloke who wanted contemplate the idea of, you know…
Oh, and the former Real Madrid superstar wasn’t a bad footballer either.
Becks is fondly remembered for his wonderful goal against Wimbledon when he fired the ball, just as it was rolling over the halfway line, into the net of an embarrassed Neil Sullivan.
The goal will stand the test of time and feature in every single ‘Best Premier League Goal Ever?’ TV show forever amen.
It appears that David has been so kind as to pass on his footballing talent to his eldest son, Brooklyn – meaning we will win the World Cup in about 11-years time. The 15-year-old, who plays for United’s Premier League rivals Arsenal, went so close to banging in a goal for the Gunners that his Dad would’ve been proud of.
