Radamel Falcao, how did it get so bad?
The most feared striker in world football less than two seasons ago was meant to be a huge coup for Manchester United when they managed to bag the Colombian on loan from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
Fast forward less than a year, the former Atletico Madrid striker has just four goals to his name in a Red Devils shirt and has become something of a laughing stock amongst the footballing world.
Louis van Gaal clearly doesn’t fancy Falcao anymore, with the striker yet again returning to the bench for United’s crunch clash with Everton this afternoon, with Wayne Rooney returning to the lead role of spearheading the attack.
Falcao did actually start United’s last Premier League game against Chelsea, however, his failure to register a shot on target was clearly behind van Gaal’s decision to drop the Colombian again.
In fact, Falcao hasn’t managed a shot on target in his last eight games! Woeful! No wonder he’s on the bench again!
Falcao dropped for Man Utd – maybe because he hasn't managed a single shot on target in his last 8 games (355 mins). pic.twitter.com/sugw8vjRde
