The shock Arsenal and Chelsea love affair no one saw coming?

Ever since Jose Mourinho first arrived at Chelsea in 2004 there’s been an ongoing sideline battle between the Portuguese and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The pair have rarely seen eye-to-eye and regularly come to blows either directly on the touchline or in a war of words via their respective press conferences.

It’s a rivalry we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed over the years, and one that subsequently took an interesting twist when Wenger finally managed to beat Mourinho at the 12th time of asking in the Community Shield final at the beginning of August.

And while both sides prepare for their first Champions League group games of the season this evening, we think they’ll both secretly be counting down the hours before they meet again in person on Saturday when Chelsea host the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.

That’s because although they publicly make out they’re not on each other’s christmas card lists, the truth appears to the complete opposite. Watch the video below and witness Mourinho and Wenger confirm their love for each other.

Didn’t see this one coming!
