Goalkeeper – Joe Hart

Joe Hart may have suffered a disturbing blip in form at the start of the season, but since being dropped for Costel Pantilimon back in November for a seven game spell and subsequently brought back into the Manchester City first team, the England No.1 has reaffirmed himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

Arsenal fans will argue that Wojciech Szczesny has shown a drastic improvement this term after producing a lot of flap-happy, hap-hazard goalkeeping last season, but in terms of overall quality the Poland international is still lagging some way behind.

In fact, in comparison to the Premier League’s other title contenders this year, it could be alleged that the 23 year-old is one of the weaker links in the Gunners starting XI. Hart on the other hand, is the starting point of a Citizens backbone that’s arguably the strongest spine in the Premier League.
