Manchester United's season cannot be described as a success thus far as the team continue to struggle to adapt to Jose Mourinho's management. Mourinho's style differs from Louis van Gaal's - the man he took over from at Old Trafford in June - and there have been teething problems.
After such an impressive start to the season, Mourinho is struggling to fit together the victories to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title. Despite adding the necessary firepower in all areas of the pitch, Mou is struggling and finding it difficult to match the success of table toppers Manchester City - albeit they beat the Citizens in the EFL Cup this week.
Saturday's visitors to Old Trafford are Lancashire rivals Burnley - who have never beaten United away from home. Sean Dyche's side continue to pursue Premier League survival, and their form of late makes them a potential worry for the Red Devils.
Nonetheless, if United are to finally secure a victory after so many weeks of failed attempts this is the line-up Mourinho must opt for...
GK: David De Gea
The Spaniard will be hoping he can secure his second league clean sheet since August this weekend. United's superb defensive performances from the beginning of the season look a million miles away - much to De Gea's annoyance.
However many saves the Spanish international makes, his defence keep letting him down.
RB: Antonio Valencia
The former Wigan man will be keen to assert his dominance on this Burnley side with an impressive full-back display at Old Trafford. It's been a long time coming, but with just victory in five Premier League games, Valencia will add the necessary width to stretch the Burnley defence.
CB: Chris Smalling
Chris Smalling's future under Jose Mourinho remains in doubt, but the England defender will need to be at his very best to ensure Burnley take nothing away from Old Trafford this Saturday.
Smalling has struggled to capture Mourinho's trust and regularly found himself on the bench at the beginning of the season, but Eric Bailly's injury has opened up a role.
CB: Daley Blind
For Manchester United fans watching from the stands, going from Bailly to Daley Blind is a scary transition, in theory. However, the Dutch international has been consistently strong at the back of Mourinho's defensive unit.
Andre Gray's pace against Blind may prove an interesting battle indeed.
LB: Luke Shaw
Luke Shaw's impressive form continues to go on on a weekly basis.
Mourinho's confidence in Shaw is evident, and he remains certain the 20-year-old is set to become an icon at the Old Trafford.
CM: Ander Herrera
Herrera hasn't received a fair crack of the whip at United since his arrival in 2014. Under Louis van Gaal, he consistently performed at a high standard for the Red Devils only to discover his place was on the bench week after week.
CM: Paul Pogba
Pogba is slowly becoming a laughing-stock within football fanbases as he continues to produce nothing worthy of £89million.
Burnley could prove a much-welcomed opponent with their lack of physicality in midfield for Pogba as he searches for his best form following his big-money move.
RM: Juan Mata
It's no secret that Juan Mata isn't Mourinho's favourite player. Nonetheless, the United manager knows what he can expect from the Spaniard going forward with his ability to discover space and establish chances for his team-mates.
CAM: Wayne Rooney
Rooney must return, surely? After spending many weeks on the bench watching his team-mates struggle for both form and results, a return to the starting XI for Rooney is likely with Jose coming under intense scrutiny.
LM: Marcus Rashford
Light at the end of the tunnel they say? This certainly remains the case for United as they continue to fall back on the form of Marcus Rashford. Dependency on a teenager is a worrying, notably for a club the size of Manchester United. But, he's very, very talented.
ST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
The massive Swede has been rather short of form of late having failed to score since the Manchester Derby in September.
An impressive start to his career in England seems a distant memory and the United faithful are anxiously waiting for Zlatan to rediscover his deadly finishing.
Burnley's physical style of defending should suit Ibrahimovic, and rarely have we witnessed the United striker 'out-battled' by a team in the bottom half of the league table.
