Three-time Ligue 1 champ open to English move amid Man United & Liverpool links

Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has admitted that a move across the Channel to play in the Premier League is tempting for him amid links with Liverpool and Manchester United.

The Brazilian has been in French football since joining the Parc des Princes giants from Sao Paulo in 2013 after emerging as one of South America’s most heralded talents.

Moura has since gone on to win three back-to-back Ligue 1 titles with PSG, but has often struggled to cement himself as a key player in a star-studded squad.

This has led to recent suggestions that he could move on, with Liverpool and Manchester United mooted destinations.

And when quizzed on the possibility of a move to England, the 23-year-old left the door firmly ajar:

“It is clear that the Premier League is very strong,” he told SporTV (via talkSPORT).

“If an opportunity comes later and I no longer have the desire to play here, I would take the decision and I would play for another club.

“I’m happy to generate interest from major European clubs, if the interest exists it shows that people trust me and would count on me.”

Moura’s situation at PSG may get tougher next year if the ambitious Middle Easter-backed side are able to secure a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
