3 November 2012 – Man United 2-1 Arsenal – Premier League

After Robin Van Persie made the switch from Arsenal to United in the summer, it was expected that the Dutch striker would score against his former side.

And within just three minutes of kick-off he found himself on the score sheet, much to the despair of the Arsenal fans who had previously worshipped him.

Patrice Evra doubled United’s lead in the 67th minute moments before Jack Wilshere was sent off for the Gunners. Santi Cazorla netted a consolation for the visitors in the 90th minute, but it was Van Persie who had the last laugh on the day.
