Arsenal 5-2 Tottenham (26.02.2012)

The Gunners claimed a vital victory to bring themselves within seven points of Tottenham, who’s promising season looked set to finally topple Arsenal’s North London dominance. An early goal from Louis Saha was added to by ex-Gunner Adebayor before a quickfire response from Bacary Sagna and van Persie brought the Gunners level by half-time. Man-of-the-match and previous forgotten man Tomas Rosicky got the third for Arsenal before a Theo Walcott brace sent sent Gooners into dreamland. Spurs’ misery was compounded by a late Scott Parker red card.
