The Belgian forward has developed into one of the Premier League’s most feared attackers since his arrival at Villa Park last year.
He was heavily linked with a move away from the Midlands over the summer, but after submitting a transfer request the 22-year-old went back on his actions to pen a new deal.
Dispute this, rumours surrounding his future have not disappeared, with a number of England’s top club sides all keen to lure him away from Villa.
United, Arsenal and Spurs are currently leading the chase, and are believed to be willing to open the bidding for the burly centre-forward’s signature in the New Year.
Any offers are likely to be met with stiff resistance but, as Benteke has shown before, he may take actions into his own hands to force through a big deal.
United are thought to have made the striker one of their top targets, while Arsenal and Tottenham have been tracking his situation for some time and are both desperate to bolster their attacking options this winter.
Could Christian Benteke really be on the move this winter?
