Based on the history of Tottenham Hotspur’s life cycle, the club may need to revert to a few changes or risk following down their dark path to future failures.
It all started when they began to become a major force in the Premier League and then suddenly deciding to sell their best player, Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, forcing them to change managers and try to fight their way back into the Champions League.
To succeed they turned to an English manager who looks capable of bringing them back to glory, but when he failed, they select a foreign manager, and continue swapping, from Harry Redknapp to Andre Villas-Boas to Tim Sherwood and now Mauricio Pochettino.
Now, having started well, their current slump could mean they drop out of a place in Europe and may once again revert to another English manager to try and save they day.
Maybe it’s time they stick with one manager, or stop selling their best players…could the on-form Harry Kane be the next to go? Who’s in line to replace Pochettino? Now what?
