Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are both set to keep an eye on AC Milan star M’Baye Niang in the Coppa Italia final against Juventus this weekend, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Niang has been heavily linked with a move away from the San Siro for much of the campaign, with Premier League champions Leicester City even having an offer back in January turned down by the Rossoneri.
However, now the Reds and Spurs have joined the race, and both will keep a keen eye on the 21-year-old when Milan play Juve in the Italian domestic cup final.
Liverpool were hoping to do a swap deal involving Mario Balotelli for the Frenchman, but the seven-time European champions value Niang at a higher £11million price.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are looking to sign a striker to ease the burden on star man Harry Kane, who recently became the first Englishman to win the Premier League golden boot since Kevin Phillips in the 1999/00 season.
The former Caen attacker has made 20 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring eight goals.
