Tottenham Hotspur look to have beaten Liverpool to the signing of Winston Reid after he is believed to have agreed a deal to make a switch in the summer, the Mirror reports.
The 26-year-old is said to have agreed a £60,000-a-week deal to complete the move to White Hart Lane on a free transfer since his contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Reid has already made it clear that he will not extend his stay at Upton Park, but despite his intentions to leave, Sam Allardyce is still hoping for the chance that he decides to stay.
His decision to not sign a new deal has alerted a number of Premier League clubs with Manchester United and Arsenal also monitoring his situation.
The Hammers’ boss has placed a £7million price tag on the New Zealand international for the January window, but all the interested parties are instead targeting a free transfer in the summer.
