‘£40m’ ace tempted by Tottenham switch

Yannick Bolasie is interested in a potential cross-London move from Crystal Palace to Spurs before the transfer window closes, according to reports from The Mirror.

The DR Congo ace has emerged as a target for the Lilywhites in recent times as Mauricio Pochettino’s side plot to up their transfer activity ahead of the looming deadline.

Bolasie impressed last season for the Eagles and amid interest from clubs such as Liverpool, Selhurst Park manager Alan Pardew slapped a staggering £40m price-tag on his player’s head.

Although such a fee is, perhaps, a little inflated, the club’s desire to keep their man may not be enough with reports claiming that the 26-year-old is tempted by the prospect of plying his trade at White Hart Lane.

Although the player is in no desperate rush to leave South London, the chance to test himself at a higher level is alluring.

With Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon no longer wanted at Spurs, Bolasie could be a direct replacement.
