Arsenal returned from the winter break with a bang, hammering Newcastle United 4-0 and putting an important three points on the board as they bid to rise up the table.

Needless to say, it was a huge win for Mikel Arteta and his men given the situation at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners languishing in tenth position.

No clues whatsoever: Which seasons do these iconic Spurs images belong to?

And for that reason, it wasn't really surprising to see the players celebrate their goals vividly, but Roy Keane wasn't really impressed with that.

The Sky Sports pundit felt it was a bit over the top considering they're only celebrating a win over Newcastle in the middle of the season.

Here's what he said for Sky Sports, as quoted by Daily Mail:

"That was way over the top. I thought they were 10 points clear at the top of the league the way they were celebrating at the end. Forget Arsenal. You've beaten Newcastle 4-0. Ridiculous."

Many Spurs fans were quick to side with him and mock Arsenal for their weak mentality and embarrassing acts amid what should be perceived as a routine victory.

But some Spurs fans jokingly claimed that the Gunners were simply celebrating moving from 11th to tenth place in the table, suggesting that for a team of their level it represented quite an achievement.

And of course, they also implied that they did indeed move ten points clear, of relegation...

Finally, there were some fans who were simply gushing over Keane and praising a personality which seemingly never changes.

They seem to love these outbursts of his and were enjoying the moment...

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho should act cold on his star who mustered another poor display vs Aston Villa...
