Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is considering a shock move to MLS, which may disappoint Spurs, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The Mexico international is currently on loan at Real Madrid, but despite a series of important goals in recent times – including a quarter-final-winning effort against Atletico Madrid – the Bernabeu club won’t be keeping him on.
And with the player’s future at United looking bleak, Hernandez is open to strange move to North America.
Spurs are one of a host of Premier League clubs to have been linked with the prolific marksman, but he may turn his back on Europe to become one of the stars of Major League Soccer if he’s unable to join a top European side this summer.
Newly-formed Orlando City SC are thought to be keen, and could look to partner the hit-man with former Ballon d’Or winner Kaka in one of the division’s most deadly attacking lines.
