Harry Winks would be a good addition to Everton, according to former striker Marcus Bent.
There has been much speculation surrounding Winks’ future recently, with Football Insider understanding that the Tottenham midfielder is in talks with another Premier League club after being told he will be a fringe player in the upcoming season.
Despite plenty of game time over the years for Spurs, Winks made just 15 appearances in the Premier League last term, in which only nine of those were in the starting XI.
The Football Insider report says that Tottenham value the England international at £30million, with former Everton player Marcus Bent suggesting that Winks would be a good addition at Goodison Park.
“I think if we could get him on the budget we have got, with Rafa in there too, I think that would be a good addition. He’s quick, he’s fast, he’s young, I think it would be good for Everton to get that sort of player in,” Bent exclusively told Football FanCast.
Everton are said to be one of the clubs in for Winks, with the Beautiful Game Podcast reporting that Everton submitted an enquiry for Winks and that Spurs have told the midfielder he can leave this summer.
