Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he is 'very happy' at Tottenham Hotspur amid fresh reports that Manchester United could still move for the Argentine this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has overseen a huge change at United since replacing Jose Mourinho in December and the Norwegian is the favourite to land the job on a full-time basis.

However, it has recently been reported that Pochettino is still being considered by the 20-time English champions, who will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The 47-year-old only signed a new five-year contract with Spurs in 2018, though, and the Argentine has revealed his happiness at his current club.

Sky Sports quotes Pochettino as saying:

"I am very happy at Tottenham. I have four more years on my contract. Maybe 99 per cent of my colleagues have a different mindset.

"I enjoy it day by day and whatever happens tomorrow will be a consequence of today. But I don't look at things too far ahead or think very long term. When I signed my contract I did it because I was happy."

Pochettino has been in charge of Tottenham since 2014, but is yet to lead the London giants to any silverware.

As it stands, Spurs are third in the Premier League table, whilst they will take on Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month.
