Liverpool will be licking their wounds after failing to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final, but attention will soon turn to transfers.
Pundit and former Reds striker Stan Collymore has given some advice to the club in his column for The Mirror, and Tottenham Hotspur fans find it hilarious.
The 47-year-old has suggested that Liverpool should offer £150m to sign Spurs trio Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Toby Alderweireld.
The group have been crucial members of Mauricio Pochettino’s team, so it would be a huge shock if chairman Daniel Levy would even entertain selling.
The only one out of the three that Spurs could allow to move on this summer is Alderweireld, who is yet to sign a new contract.
Even so, given how stubborn Levy is, the amount of £150m would likely be far too low for the businessman to consider.
Tottenham supporters are not the biggest fans of Liverpool following Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah’s tussle for the Golden Boot, which eventually fell in favour of the latter.
So, when they read Collymore’s comments, they could not help but laugh.
I’m going to urge D Levy to buy Salah, Firmino and Mane. Time to back up our manger with some decent back-ups if he is serious

Why would they want to go there?

Stan, you on the pipe ?
Why would they want to go and who would they have to rob to be able to afford them ?
In the current climate they would need to find £300m, and that’s just for Levy to take the call;#BestLookElsewhere

Didn’t Tottenham finish higher than Liverpool? And have done for how many years? They reached the final this year with some fairly easy games. They didn’t beat Madrid and Tottenham beat Madrid. #collymoorehasnoidea

Thanks for the giggle

It seems like @StanCollymore is high thinking Liverpool can just go and do that. Also it would take about triple that just as an initial bid. But I have no idea what planet he is on

Why not throw in Messi and Ronaldo as backup in case the trio fail to click.
