Well, it would be fair to say that there were some mixed opinions from the Tottenham Hotspur fans when it came to Dele Alli’s performance against Red Star Belgrade.
The England international was replaced just past the hour of the Champions League match, which Spurs won 4-0 in extremely comfortable fashion.
The 23-year-old actually set up Son Heung-min for the away side’s second goal of the night, sliding a clever pass into his teammate who made no mistake as he struck high into the net.

There were a lot of Spurs fans who were pleased with what they saw from the attacking midfielder during the European clash.
However, that was not an opinion shared by everyone as many others were once again left underwhelmed by his performance.

In what world was he brilliant?! Good assist and that was it. No where near the level he was

Decent enough, but I think saying he was brilliant is a bit of an overstatement.

Ndombele is pure class. Dele Alli is getting back to his best. Lovely. Look at that celebration from Son. You know what he refers to there #THFC

Dele Alli was awful , he tbh just ruins most of our attacks and apart from the assist was not impressed.
Rose apart from the assist , again was quite poor in quality but the difference between him and Davies in minimal
Too many individual errors which gave Belgrade chances..
