Since making his Premier League debut in August 2015, Dele Alli has established himself as one of the finest young players in the Premier League and last night against Southampton, the 20-year-old recorded his 50th appearance in the competition.
Celebrating his half-century of appearances with the equalising goal in last night’s clash, after Virgil Van Dijk had given the Saints the lead, it took Alli’s record into a very impressive position.
25 – Dele Alli has now been involved in 25 goals in 50 Premier League appearances for Spurs (15 goals, 10 assists). Future.

With 15 Premier League goals during his fledgling career and ten assists, Alli has earned an excellent reputation as he’s played a part in a goal in every other game, on average. Should he continue at this record, he could be one of the league’s greatest ever.
Having won PFA Young Player of the Year award after his maiden campaign last season, Alli has struggled for consistency at times this season but his goal on the South Coast suggests the midfielder is back to his best, having no scored in consecutive Premier League matches.
