Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are now set to heavily monitor Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane after another impressive season, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.
Kane jumped ahead of Jamie Vardy in the Premier League scoring charts with two strikes against Stoke City on Monday, pushing his tally to an impressive 24 goals in 34 league matches.
After making his breakthrough last season with 21 league goals, the 22-year-old has become the first Tottenham player since Martin Chivers back in 1973 to register over 20 strikes in two consecutive campaigns.
And his displays have not gone unnoticed by Europe’s elite, with Real and Bayern now keeping tabs on the Lilywhites’ star man.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has even lavished praise on Kane recently, fuelling speculation that he could follow former White Hart Lane hero Gareth Bale to the Spanish top tier
Kane has made 46 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 27 goals.
