Exodus to continue? Spurs flop set for £10.3m January exit

Italian giants Napoli have agreed personal terms with Spurs’ Mousa Dembele and are ready to submit a £10.3m offer for his signature in January, according to reports from Tuttosport.

The Belgian has been at White Hart Lane since 2012 after impressing Tottenham during his spell with Fulham

However, in his time at White Hart Lane, Dembele has struggled to match the performances he produced at Craven Cottage and is currently behind the likes of Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and even converted centre-back Eric Dier in Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield pecking order, while Dele Alli is also emerging.

However, this has not deterred Napoli, who are reportedly ready to give him an escape route.

It’s claimed that terms have been agreed between the player and the Naples outfit, who are willing to pay around £10.3m to make a deal official this winter.

Should Dembele leave, he will become the latest in a long line of players axed by Spurs in recent times, including the likes of Roberto Soldado, Etienne Capoue and Paulinho.
