Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday after an excellent performance away to Swansea City.
Finding goals through Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela, Spurs were far too strong for Carlos Carvalhal’s side, despite the absence of Harry Kane.
Much has been made of Kane’s importance to Spurs and how much they might suffer now he is injured until next month, but their attacking front four showed in Wales that there is far more to this side than their striking talisman.
Beyond the goalscorers, fans were also delighted with Lucas Moura, who was starting just his third match since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in January.
All of those starts have come in the FA Cup and today he continued his goal contributions in the competition, setting up Eriksen to make it a goal and three assists in the games he has played so far.
Some fans are now calling on him to get his first Premier League start, believing he is showing excellent potential.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
One thing we can all agree on is that Lucas Moura is a fantastic player to have at our club. Can’t wait for him to get a full pre-season under Poch and get to full fitness. Nice competition for places with lamela hitting form too. #COYS #THFC #SWATOT
