FIVE reasons Tottenham shouldn’t cash-in during January

According to the tabloids, veteran Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe could see his second spell at White Hart Lane cut abruptly short in January, as Andre Villas-Boas and Daniel Levy look to add a new front man to the mix in a bid to achieve their Premier League top four ambitions this season.

At the same time, the England international has been surprisingly vocal about his adoration for former club West Ham, and previous manager Harry Redknapp has shown a brief interest in bringing the 31-year-old to QPR, who are currently third in the Championship table.

But we at Football FanCast believe cashing-in on Defoe midway through the season would be an enormous mistake for the Lilywhites, and just to prove it, here’s FIVE reasons AVB should not be selling the 5 foot 7 forward in the coming transfer window.
