Tottenham Hotspur picked up an incredibly impressive win in the English Premier League, this time besting West Bromwich Albion 4-0 at White Hart Lane in Saturday's early kick-off.

Spurs looked as good as they have done all season and extended their winning run in the Premier League to 6 games. It's 7 games in all competitions and it's going to take something special to stop them now.

Harry Kane scored a wonderful hat-trick, aided by virtuoso performances from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli. The Spurs full-backs, Walker and Rose, were also standouts, again giving Spurs an almighty threat down both flanks.

Ben Foster kept the scores down, pulling off a string of fantastic saves to prevent a more embarrassing defeat.

Pochettino's side now head into a vital game away to Manchester City next week, a fixture all eyes will be on.

Here are FIVE things we learned from Saturday's encounter...

Spurs may be the most exciting team in the Premier League

Spurs breathtaking performance proved they are one of the best teams to watch on their day. Direct, creative, quick. They have everything.

The first half against West Brom was particularly impressive, the energy in the legs of the Spurs time is unparalleled. Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are majestic bombing down the flanks while Dele Alli and Eriksen can do wonders with the ball at their feet.

They aren't just delighting Tottenham supporters but neutrals too. They are the must watch team right now if you want to see a supreme example of the Premier League style.

Pochettino knows how to defeat a Pulis team

Tony Pulis has travelled to the Emirates, Stamford Bridge and Anfield already this season and run all three teams around Spurs very close. They lost all three games but didn't lose by more than one goal.

Pulis sets up his team with a very defensive outlook away to these big teams but Pochettino found a way around that.

The direct nature and wide threat that Spurs carry is different to the possession based systems of the likes of Arsenal and that paid dividends on Saturday.

The Argentinian manager set his team up perfectly to completely bypass the defensive wall that Pulis loves to build.

Harry Kane cannot be stopped

Harry has now scored an incredible 62 goals in 99 Premier League appearances, the quickest to reach the 60 mark in the Premier League in Spurs' history.

He was absolutely lethal on Saturday and has now scored 13 Premier League goals in 16 appearances for the club this season. That's just one behind Alexis Sanchez and Diego Costa at the top of the scoring charts.

Going 8 games without a goal earlier in the campaign, a few questioned whether he could have another blockbuster season, but those doubts have been well and truly put to bed.

It's unstoppable form and could be the difference maker in the title run-in.

Ben Foster is one of the best GKs in the league

According to the BBC, Spurs had 11 shots on target across the 90 minutes, meaning Ben Foster made a massive 7 saves.

Many of them were toppers, at times it felt like Foster was playing Spurs on his own. Another goalkeeper may have wilted under the pressure Spurs put on him but he undoubtedly stopped Pochettino's side from inflicting an even heavier defeat on West Brom.

He proved he is one of the best goalkeepers in the league and arguably has been for the last decade.

Christian Eriksen is Spurs' inspiration

Over the last 10 games, Christian Eriksen has been the man to inspire his teammates to victory. In that time he has scored 5 goals and created 6 assists, directly contributing to a goal more than once every game.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli have been stealing the headlines but it's Eriksen, for us, who is the man who keeps Spurs pushing forward.

He was immense again during Saturday's match, assisting Harry Kane's opener and taking the shot that led to Gareth McAuley's own goal.

This touch map, courtesy of WhoScored.com, shows just how influential he was across the entire pitch. Only Mousa Dembele touched the ball more, but it's Eriksen's attacking ability that sets him apart from midfielders like Dembele in terms of impacting a game.
