Juan Foyth is ready to quit Tottenham in January if he continues to be overlooked in the first-team frame, according to The Evening Standard.

What's the word?

Tottenham are set for major changes in the next few months as they prepare to move to their new stadium, and a host of business could take place amongst the squad with Spurs at risk of losing a number of important players.

Mousa Dembele is set for an exit at the end of the season and Spurs could also lose Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, both of whom see their current deals expire in the summer, while The Evening Standard now reports than Juan Foyth is also considering his future.

The 20-year-old was called up by Argentina's senior squad during the international break but did not make his debut for the South American giants, and has seen his chances at Spurs extremely limited.

A big mistake?

Signed in 2017, Juan Foyth has struggled to make an impact at Tottenham and is expected to remain out of the first-team frame despite Vertonghen being ruled out for a number of months through injury - which shows how much his standing has dropped.

One of the overseas players who was omitted from the Champions League squad, Foyth's best chance of first-team football comes in the domestic cup competitions but it is not surprising to see the 20-year-old considering his future.

While Foyth needs to improve, allowing him to leave at a time when Spurs could also lose Vertonghen and Alderweireld would be a huge mistake from Pochettino.
